There was good news for the girls, with all female candidates achieving at least five A* to C grades including English, Maths and at least one science.
Beth Birkbeck (pictured above right) achieved 5A*s, 5As and 1B and Georgina Chapman achieved 5A*s, 4As and 3Bs ... including an incredible 198 points out of 200 in her English Literature exam.
