ZULUS DESCEND ON SIBFORD SCHOOL
June 2009

Students at Sibford School near Banbury got a lesson in South African dance techniques when 30 Zulus descended on the school.
The Young Zulu Warriors conducted workshops before joining pupils for lunch.
Head of Drama, Maria Jackson, who organised the visit said: “It was a fantastic occasion and a great experience for the students. After all, it’s not every day you can go home and say you shared lunch with a tribe of Zulus!”
The Young Zulu Warriors, a vibrant and soulful group of gospel singers and dancers, was formed at God's Golden Acre, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa in 2000 and has since dazzled audiences across the world.
Founded by Heather Reynolds, God's Golden Acre provides residential care for young people and also works in rural areas that have been devastated by HIV/AIDS.
As part of their UK tour The Young Zulu Warriors have appeared at St Mary’s Churches in Bloxham and Banbury as well as at venues in Glasgow, Kingston-upon-Thames, Felixstowe and London.
