VISITORS REACH FOR THE SKIES
June 2009

Visitors to Sibford School’s annual open day reached for the skies on Saturday and raised nearly £250 for charity.
Parents, friends and pupils were invited to scale a 24ft-climbing wall supplied by holiday activity organisers SuperCamps.
Money raised was split between SuperCamps’ own charity, which supports childcare camps for poverty stricken youngsters in South Africa, and the Sibford School Ghana Challenge 2010, which will see a team of pupils traveling to West Africa to help with community projects.
As well as the climbing wall, other events taking place at the Quaker-run school near Banbury included a charity car wash, exhibitions of work, musical performances, guided tours of the school, maypole dancing and a hog roast.
* SuperCamps will be back at Sibford School in July for the start of a four-week holiday activity event.
