Sibford School near Banbury has been awarded a grant of more than £4,000 by Oxfordshire County Council.

The Early Years Capital Grant is to fund the creation of an Early Learning Garden which will be used by some of the school’s youngest pupils.

Clair Henebury, who teaches the reception class at Sibford Junior School, said: “We put in the bid last term and are delighted that it has been accepted. We can’t wait to get the work underway.”

The Early Learning Garden will include a mini beast bug area, water-life viewing platform, vegetable patch and a sandpit story telling area.
