GOING FOR A SONG

March 2009

Fifteen pupils from Sibford Junior School near Banbury travelled north earlier this month to take part in the National Quaker Schools’ Junior Choirs Concert.

Held at Bootham School in York, the concert, which took place on Saturday 7 March, featured the voices of more than 130 children.

The youngsters performed a selection of songs including one composed especially for the event by Bootham’s Director of Music, Paul Feehan, entitled ‘Peace’.
